Demonstration Work
See how KeenVector turns complex information into clear, decision-ready analysis.
Portfolio disclosure: These are self-directed demonstration projects created to show KeenVector’s research and decision-support methods. They are not client engagements, testimonials, or claims of past performance.
VENDOR & SOFTWARE DECISION
Apex Logistics
A fictional logistics scenario evaluating customer-support platforms against hard operating constraints: eight users, a $400/month all-in ceiling, day-one email and SMS, and retention of the existing local dispatch number.
Hard failures were screened before scoring. Viable finalists were then compared on cost cushion, workflow fit, ease for dispatch, reporting fit, and implementation risk.

TRADE-AREA & COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS
Coffee Site Selection
A site-selection demonstration comparing Royal Oak and East Lansing using historical review data, competitor structure, lease economics, trade-area sensitivity, and directional current-market verification.
Base-case recommendation: Royal Oak, but only with lease and operating guardrails. East Lansing remains viable if its economics improve or the business deliberately adopts a student-focused operating model.

PROCUREMENT INTELLIGENCE
Ann Arbor RFP 18-20
A historical procurement-intelligence demonstration based on an actual City of Ann Arbor solicitation for large-scale document digitization. The analysis separates what could be known before award from information revealed afterward.
The bid-stage analysis identified inventory and volume uncertainty, metadata complexity, mixed-media handling, custody continuity, OCR feasibility, and throughput planning as central execution risks. Later public records were used only to test those earlier signals—not to rewrite them with hindsight.

What the demonstrations show
Different questions call for different methods, but the underlying discipline remains consistent.
Constraints first
Eliminate options that cannot satisfy the decision before spending time scoring them.
Evidence visible
Separate sourced facts, assumptions, analyst judgments, uncertainties, and limitations.
Methods fit the question
Use the lightest defensible analytical method rather than adding complexity for appearance.
Decision-ready output
Turn research into a clear view of tradeoffs, recommendation, risks, and the conditions that could change it.
